As a local community netball club, our aim is to provide young people with the opportunity to enjoy learning netball skills, and to develop a strong understanding of teamwork in a fun and positive environment. Our club structure encourages our members to expand their friendship network and explore their role in creating a successful team dynamic.

In a society where there is much emphasis placed on individual effort, we feel it is important for young people to realise the fulfilment of giving their best efforts for the benefit of the whole team; we encourage all our members to be the best they can be and become true “team players”.

Sandy Starlets is run solely by volunteers – mainly parents. Being involved in club activities is very rewarding personally and for our players; and we encourage you to take advantage of the many opportunities to participate – from sideline support on game day; to coaching or managing a team; or applying your personal expertise to one of the committee roles. We warmly invite you to join in our community organisation.
