Welcome to the Players’ Zone!
This is where you can find everything you need to know to keep you up to date and in the loop. You’ll find info on training times and what happens if the weather is very hot or very wet. You can also order a new uniform and check out any discounts or special member offers from local shops and businesses.
Training
For all age sections except U17 and Open, attendance at Club training is compulsory as part of your acceptance into a team. If you will be absent from a training session please make sure you notify your Team Manager. Training takes place every Tuesday. The only exceptions are school holiday breaks and as advised by your coach or the club.
Training takes place at the Thomas Street courts, where all our matches are played. Please make sure you arrive promptly so that you have time for a sufficient warm-up.
Training Times
- U11 teams: 4.00 – 5:00 pm Tuesdays
- U13 teams: 5:00 – 6:00 pm Tuesdays
- U15 teams: 6:00 -7:00 pm Tuesday
- U17 & Open teams: 7:00 -8:00 pm (or as arranged by coach)

Policies
Wet Weather – this is the SDNA policy which applies to all the SDNA competitions. If a match is cancelled we will do our best to post a timely notification to our Club Facebook group. If the weather is too wet for training (Tuesdays), your Team Manager will notify you – although we do try to continue with training if at all possible.
Hot Weather – these are the Netball Victoria guidelines which apply all SDNA competitions. As with wet weather cancellations, we will do our best to notify Club members via our Facebook group and your Team Manager.
